I want to use a metronome while singing and/or playing an instrument.

It should provide both an audible and a visual guide. The visual metronome should emulate the movements of a conductor, which are specific to the time signature (and to some extent subject to the conductors personal taste).

Further, there should be different visual patterns for each time signature, each expressing a different temperament similar to how a real conductor would change the patterns to indicate changes.

With a choice of temperament available, it should be possible to define sequences of time signatures and associated temperaments to match an entire song.

Additionally, the metronome should have a count-in feature, which includes the ability to provide reference notes for one or more singers just before the count-in.
